HPSCI chairman Rep. Silvestre Reyes (D-Tx) announced the committee's decision to investigate whether the National Security Act was violated in the CIA not informing Congress about its covert assassination program. And surely the case warrants investigation. But how many times have such investigations been announced -- I am thinking of the committee's investigation of the decision to destroy CIA interrogation videotapes -- with seemingly nothing to show for it?
