Congratulations to Foreign Policy for winning one of tonight's National Magazine Awards, for general excellence. (Though I've worked there since the beginning of the year, I can take no credit for the award, which is based on submissions for work from last year.) It's generally considered the most prestigious award in the magazine business, and well deserved. Lots of excellent candidates in other categories and among the other nominees, here.
