Lousiana governor Kathleen Blanco declared a state of emergency on August 26, the Post reports in an above the fold correction tonight:
May I suggest that the Post no longer honor granting anonymity to the lying son of a bitch at the White House who gave them this false quote in the first place? Let's hear who gave them the lie. A Sept. 4 article on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina incorrectly said that Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco (D) had not declared a state of emergency. She declared an emergency on Aug. 26.
